Street Beggars Take Their Business Online. Charity Website Plays Robin Hood To Grant Wishes.

Hey, I’m Crazy-Lion-Mask-Beggar-Man. Now gimme some candy!

Here’s a crazy concept: You list a dollar amount and a wish on a website.  Then you beg and and beg to everyone about how you need the money.  A bunch of people collectively decide which wish is the LEAST fraud. And then that person gets whatever money he asks for from a pool of donated money.

One gentleman was awarded $10,000 so he and his wife could travel to Mozambique to create an orphanage with Iris Ministries. … Another $10,000 was awarded to a man requesting digital film equipment so he could ensure “The Defeat of Stephen Spielberg in film to film combat”.

People’s wishes include paying down debt, paying medical bills, startup money for businesses, sandwiches, and other things. They’ve given out $20,000 so far.

Welp. I better post my wish of $5,000 to help my dying grandmother’s “cancer debt orphanage nursing home Vegas startup” fund. Yeah I don’t see any fraud EVER surfacing on this website.

Here’s a video presenting checks to the winners. You might have to click through.
