1. Why are you doing a blog about money?
Like it or not: Money makes the world go ’round. Unfortunately, they don’t really teach you how to handle money in school. And there’s a lot of crap, spam, and bad advice so we’ll try to filter the bad parts out for you.
2. What makes you any different from CNN/Money or any other site about money?
Unlike CNN/Money and other sites like it, we’re not part of a huge conglomerate media company where some guy name Rupert can tell us to recommend stuff to people that we wouldn’t recommend to ourselves. We’re only trying to find and provide the best money advice and information.
3. So everything you say is right for me?
Nope. You decide on your own particular situation what you should do. The same advice could be good for one person but bad for another. Commenters are usually quick to point out flaws on any tips or articles. Commenters rock.
4. What kind of biases should we expect from you?
We’re not big proponents of the no-money-down, get rich quick, pyramid, scammy-type methods of getting rich. Also, we’re not high-class so you probably won’t see advice pertaining to the wealthy-only crowd.
5. Who are you, anyway?
Binary Dollar’s front-runners are Henry and Matt. We’re both working stiffs with savvy tastes and witty charm.
6. Do you take suggestions or feedback or hate mail or requests?
Yep! As much as possible please. Send the love (or hate) to tips@binarydollar.com
